Dengue cases are on the rise in the national capital, however, the number of cases is comparatively lower than last year. The cases of Malaria and Chikungunya have also increased in the last week.
Delhi has nearly reported 190 dengue cases in the national capital this year till July 22, which is the highest for the period since 2018.

Dengue cases in Delhi 2022: "In the last week of December, 1 case of Chikungunya was reported till December 31. 48 cases of chikungunya were reported in the last year, while no one died due to chikungunya," read the MCD data.
Delhi dengue cases: In 2015, the city had witnessed a massive dengue outbreak, with the number of cases crossing 10,600 in October. It was Delhi's worst dengue outbreak since 1996.

Five fresh dengue cases were reported last week. At least 81 dengue cases have been recorded so far this year, the report said. No death has been reported due to the vector-borne disease so far, it said.
Several measures are being taken up in the national capital to bring down the number of cases.
According to the report on vector-borne diseases, a total of 5,277 dengue cases were recorded this year till November 13.
Delhi HC on Tuesday issued notice to Delhi govt and North Delhi Municipal Corporation regarding an action plan to control dengue outbreak in Delhi.
The national capital had registered a higher count of 2,022 dengue cases for October in 2017, according to figures shared by civic authorities.
Delhi has reported over 1,000 cases of dengue this year, with more than 280 cases logged in the last week, according to a civic report released on Monday.
According to the civic report issued by the municipal corporations last week, 97 cases of dengue were recorded till August 28 this year. At least 124 cases have been reported this year till September 4.
Cases of vector-borne diseases are usually reported between July and November, but the period may stretch till mid-December.
With two more cases of dengue and chikungunya each reported in the last one week, the tally of vector-borne diseases reported in the national capital this year has gone up to 67.
