On January 16, Delhi woke up to very dense fog and visibility was extremely low on the roads. The cold waves continued to prevail in the national capital and icy winds hit normal lives. The flights from Delhi also got delayed due to extreme weather. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi reported min temperature at 6 digreeC and max temperature at 21 digreeC.
Delhi witnessed dense fog on Saturday morning that led to poor visibility in several parts of the national capital.
Delhi's minimum temperature was recorded at seven degrees Celsius on Monday and is likely to drop further as cold winds from the snow-clad western Himalayas continued to sweep the plains, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
