According to the India Meteorological Department's (IMD) prediction on Tuesday morning, a thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain is likely in many parts of Delhi and Haryana and Rajasthan.
Delhi is expected to receive moderate rain during the day, while maximum temperature may settle around 34 degrees Celsius, it said.
The thunderstorms are predicted in the adjoining areas of isolated places of North Delhi, South-West Delhi, South Delhi, Faridabad, Ballabhgarh, the IMD further said.
On Thursday, the national capital recorded a high of 34 degrees Celsius and a low of 25.6 degrees Celsius.

The last time the monsoon arrived so late in Delhi was on July 7 in 2012.
Humidity was recorded at 67 per cent at 8.30 am.
