To curb air pollution, the Arvind Kejriwal-led government in Delhi has announced the implementation of the Odd-Even scheme from November 4 to 15.

The air quality index (AQI) scores fluctuate over days and a particular place may have a higher or lower pollution level on a given day. However, the broad trend of quality of air would remain consistent.
In East Delhi, BJP MP and city unit chief Manoj Tiwari and MP Gautam Gambhir on Wednesday flagged off 40 water sprinkling tankers, two super-sucker machines, six suction-cum-jetting machines, four auto-mounted litter picker machines, in an attempt to reduce pollution levels in the city.
"Pollution level in Delhi has been coming down since 2015, efforts and cooperation of all have borne fruits, congratulations to all. Now, it should not increase, but should come down," the chief minister tweeted in Hindi.

The maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 25.9 degrees Celsius, while for Sunday it is expected to hover around the same.
"It is better not to be in Delhi. I do not wish to settle in Delhi. It is difficult to live in Delhi," Justice Arun Mishra said while hearing a matter.
The India Meteorological Department has said that there will be dense to very dense fog at several places in western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand for the next two days.
The sky will remain clear with haze as the humidity was recorded at 100 per cent Thursday morning.
“It will continue to be this cold for another two-three days. After that, it will slowly start getting warmer," an IMD official said.
At least 12 train arrivals in Delhi were delayed due to fog or low visibility.
