Delhites woke up to a windy Sunday morning with a significant decrease in air pollution. the AQI in most areas of the capital remained below the 200 mark. The decision on the odd-even scheme extension will be taken on Monday by the Delhi government.
On Saturday morning, the AQI in Delhi remained above the 500 mark around 7 am. The numbers improved slightly by 9 am but the quality overall remains very much in the severely unhealthy category. Some schools have partly opened in the capital but the strength of the students remain low.
According to the Air Quality Index (AQI) data, Indirapuram at 480, Loni at 479, Sanjay Nagar at 479 and Vasundhara at 489 - all in 'Severe' category.
