ED learned that during 2015-16, when Jain was a public servant, some companies beneficially owned and controlled by him received accommodation entries to the tune of Rs 4.81 crore from shell companies against cash transferred to Kolkata based entry operators through Hawala route.
The Omicron variant is spreading out of a few countries, and "we are putting the focus on testing, tracing and isolation of passengers" coming from foreign countries, especially the countries affected by the new variant, the health minister said.
