Delhi fire: As many as 27 fire tenders were rushed to the spot and were carrying out the firefighting operations at the time of filing this report.
According to reports, the incident occurred in Transport Nagar.
This is the same building in which a massive fire incident was reported on May 13, 2022, in which 27 people were killed.
Delhi Fire: According to police, the building was engulfed in smoke and families residing on the first and second floors got trapped inside. They further said that no casualty was reported in the incident.
Delhi fire news: "Information about the fire was received at around 5:50 am. Immediately 18 fire tenders were pressed into service," the fire department said.

Chandni Chowk fire: Delhi Fire Service Director Atul Garg said the "situation is not very good" and that a major part of the main building has been severely damaged.

Gandhi Nagar fire: "The fire was declared of a medium category. A total of 28 fire tenders are engaged. Fire is now under control and confined to the top floors," said Deputy Chief Fire Officer SK Dua.

Seven fire tenders have reached the spot, and the fire is now under control. Many vehicles were damaged and many e-rickshaws got burnt to ashes.
The blaze was completely brought out within an hour. Officials are yet to ascertain the exact reason that caused the fire.
Delhi Fire Department said that they received a call about a blast and house collapse around 9 p.m. at C block, Phase 1, Rajpur near Chattarpur in south Delhi after which five fire tenders were immediately pressed into service.
One staff member has been declared dead, who was earlier found unconscious inside the banquet hall. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries.
