COVID-19: A review meeting chaired by Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya noted that seven states are reporting high number of corona cases in India with rising test positivity rate, which include Delhi, Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Haryana.
Delhi COVID cases: The death toll due to the infection stands at 26,530. Delhi saw 416 fresh Covid cases on Saturday with a positivity rate of 14.37 per cent. The city recorded 295 coronavirus cases on Thursday with a positivity rate of 12.48 per cent.
Delhi's health department had not issued a health bulletin on Sunday. On Saturday, the city saw six deaths due to COVID-19 while the positivity rate stood at 7.8 per cent.
On Wednesday, Delhi had recorded 928 fresh COVID-19 cases, the lowest in over a week, with a positivity rate of 7. 08 per cent and three more fatalities.
The number of fresh coronavirus cases was the highest recorded in a single day since February 4 when the city had recorded 2,272 new infections at a positivity rate of 3.85 per cent, and 20 related deaths.
The fine for not wearing a mask has been reduced from ₹ 1,000 to ₹ 500, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority, or DDMA said.
The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) was recorded at 1.04 per cent.
With this, the national capital's case count increased to 18,53,428 and the death toll climbed to 26,086, the latest health bulletin stated.

The number of cumulative cases on Sunday stood at 14,39,603. Over 14.14 lakh patients have recovered from the virus.

No death due to the viral disease was recorded on July 18, July 24, July 29 and August 2 as well, according to official data.
