Delhi air quality today: According to data shared by SAFAR, Dhirpur in Model Town dipped to an AQI of 356. The AQI near IGI Airport (T3) also stood in the 'very poor' category on Wednesday at 350.

Delhi's air quality deteriorated from 333 on Thursday to 346 at 9.30 am on Friday, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data showed.
Delhi's particulate matter (PM) 2.5 pollution levels on Wednesday morning were three to four times above the national standard of 60 microgram per cubic metre for 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the air quality of NCR region like Noida, Gurugram remains in 'severe' and in 'very poor category respectively.
The overall Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi stands at 425.

The NGT has issued directions relating to restrictions on registration and plying of diesel vehicles more than 10 years old and petrol vehicles more than 15 years old in the Delhi- NCR.
Delhi is likely to witness 'shallow fog' today with the mercury dropping to as low as 8 degrees Celsius, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Delhi's air quality remained in the 'severe' to 'very poor' category since early November. The main reasons for poor air quality include stubble burning in neighbouring states, vehicular pollution and unfavourable wind condition.
