Rajkot fire: The five-member SIT formed by the state government, to conduct a probe into the incident and submit a report within 72 hours, reached Rajkot late Saturday night and held a meeting with the local administration.
Goa news: The bus driver has been arrested, the police said. A labourer claimed the bus driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time and threatened the other labourers to kill them if they complained to anyone about the incident.
Delhi fire: On information, police officials and firefighters reached the area and doused the fire. As per a fire officer, the fire was extinguished completely, a total of 12 newborns were rescued and taken to a hospital.

Noida road accident: According to police officials, two persons- Tushar Kumar and Adi Batra, both residents of Sector 41- who were in BMW at the time of accident have been taken into custody by officials of Sector 24 police station.
Tamil Nadu: According to Padalam Police, the injured persons have been taken to Chengalpattu Government Hospital.
According to police official, the bus was enroute to Hyderabad from Chinnaganjam, a Mandal in Bapatla district when it collided with a lorry. The two vehicles were completely damaged in the road accident.
The Road Transport Corporation (RTC) bus collided with a tractor carrying labourers, causing the fatalities. The injured are being treated at Kothapeta Government Hospital.

Uttar Pradesh news: Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Muzaffarnagar, Jalaun, Jhansi, Kanpur Dehat, Shahjahanpur, Lalitpur and Saharanpur were hit by hailstorms between 8:30 am and 2:30 pm.
Mumbai wall collapse: At least two people died and one got seriously injured after a 60 feet long and 20 feet high wall collapsed near the Film city gate number 2 behind Prime Fox Production. The incident took place in Goregaon area of Mumbai.
