A portion of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway caved in near Bhandarej in Dausa district, creating a big crater. Concerned officials rushed to the spot and started maintenance of the road.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma held a meeting of senior officials in Jaipur to take stock of the situation while all schools in four severely affected districts were directed to be shut on Monday.
Jaipur Police Control Room received a threat call in which the caller threatened to kill the chief minister. When the officials traced the call, it was no less than a shocker to them as the location was shown inside the jail in Dausa.
Rajasthan Leader of Opposition and Congress leader, Tika Ram Jully, was injured in a road accident on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway when his car collided with a Nilgai. The incident occurred on June 5, and Jully was taken to Dausa District Hospital for treatment.
