He made the offer at the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meet held here to discuss the reasons for the party's abysmal performance in the elections. The CWC members, however, rejected Rahul Gandhi's offer.

Top party leaders, including UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, are expected to attend the meeting.
"The Prime Minister has betrayed the public and he has failed. We will not allow the PM to mislead and fool the people of India," said Congress spokesperson Anand Sharma.
Priyanka said the Modi government did not fulfil its promises of providing jobs to crores of people in the country.
Giving her first speech since assuming charge as Congress general secretary, Priyanka on Tuesday attacked Modi government and claimed that while hatred was being spread in the country, the government has failed to fulfill its promises about money and jobs.
A meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) and a public rally, with party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi among the key speakers, will be held here on March 12.
A special committee was formed for the CWC meeting, which was to discuss economic, foreign and social policies.
