As many as 40 personnel were killed on February 14, when a Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a CRPF convoy on the Jammu-Srinagar highway in Pulwama.
He said two convoys have been run after the attack at Latoomode in Pulwama and these new measures are being tested and implemented as part of the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The CRPF on February 17 cautioned people against “fake pictures” being circulated online of body parts of its 40 jawans killed in the Pulwama attack, the deadliest terrorist strike on security forces in Kashmir Valley in three decades.
Anyone can contribute to the fund through the BKV mobile app or the website. All contributions are exempt from income tax as per government rules.
As the reports of threats pour in, the Ministry of Home Affairs has asked security forces to ensure the safety of Kashmiris in the Valley and across the nation.
"While we have lost our comrades, it is our pledge to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, especially to those living in the Kashmir Valley, that we are with them always," a senior CRPF official said.
PM Modi said every Indian is in anger and he wanted to assure the 130 crore people of India that the sacrifices of CRPF soldiers will "not go in vain".
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the security forces have been given free hand in bringing the perpetrators of the Pulwama terror attack to justice.
China's stand comes after a JeM suicide bomber carried out one of the most deadliest terror attacks in India's history, in which at least 40 CRPF personnel were killed in Kashmir's Pulwama district.
Congress president Rahul Gandhi paid his tribute to the fallen CRPF men and said that the 'nation won't be divided' by these acts of terror.
While a majority of the bodies have been identified, some of them have been mangled beyond recognition.
Paying tribute to the fallen men, PM Modi said that there's a strong sense of anger in the nation and that the security forces have full freedom to act against the terror groups.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley also said that the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) will take all the necessary steps to isolate Pakistan completely in the international community.
This heinous and despicable act has been perpetrated by Jaish-e-Mohammed, a Pakistan-based terrorist organisation proscribed by the United Nations and other countries, Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement.
