According to the police officials, the incident took place in Musakhedi area on Saturday night when the accused, resident of Shanti Nagar, was going home after closing his shop.

The family of the deceased woman alleged that she had gone to Nand Nagri area to collect rent from her tenant and did not return after that. They filed a missing report in the police station, and later found her body in the bed box of their residence.

Two people sustained serious injuries in the incident after which they were rushed to AIIMS Delhi. The police arrested the accused who had personal enmity with one of the injured persons.
