Rajasthan crime news: A case of rape under Indian Penal Code section 376 and the relevant provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act has been registered against the accused, police said.
Uttar Pradesh crime news: According to the police, the man, identified as Neeraj Kushwaha, had an argument with his wife Manisha over his extramarital affair. During the fight, Neeraj struck Manisha with a cricket bat, resulting in her death. He also allegedly killed his one-year-old daughter.
Bihar news: The victim has been identified as Ram Pravesh Pandey, a native of Bahilwara Rupnathpur village under the Saraiya police station limits. Pandey's family members have claimed that after having dinner on Monday (January 8), he went to sleep.
Delhi crime news: The investigation revealed that accused, who is a neighbour of the victim, also physically assaulted him. A police officer said the crime came to the fore on December 26 (Tuesday) after the family members of child found him bleeding from his private parts.
The man was rushed to a local hospital with a sharp weapon still lodged in his stomach, from where he was referred to another hospital in Kota.
The police said that the argument took place between the couple which led to the incident in which the wife bludgeoned her husband with hammer.
The man entered his residence in an inebriated state and argued with his wife. He attacked his mother, an infant son and wife with an axe, killing the first two, while also injuring the latter.
The Delhi Police said that the victim gave a statement before his death in which he alleged that the woman had called him at her residence and set him ablaze. However, the woman rejected the allegation and claimed that he set himself on fire.
Greater Noida crime news: According to officials, the FIR has been lodged under the IPC sections 147 (rioting) and 302 (murder) against around a dozen people and further legal proceedings are underway.
Telangana crime news: The accused escaped after the killing but was caught by people in a neighbouring village on the suspicion of being a thief. They thrashed him and after tying his hands and legs handed over to the police.

Delhi news: The driver makes another sharp U-turn before leaving the area. The owner of the SUV has been identified as Mohd Habib. The police said they are searching for the two men who came in the vehicle.
Delhi murder case news: Sharing details about the incident, police said that the deceased identified as Neeraj (33) died due to a stab wound following a monetary dispute.
Rajasthan crime news: "Dilip Singh (45), a resident of Padukalan town, his wife Rajesh Kanwar (40) and daughter Priyanka (15) were attacked and killed by Mohit (with an axe on Saturday night," Padukalan SHO Manvendra Singh said on Sunday.
Bihar crime news: “The police found her mutilated body on December 26 (Tuesday) from the Kharidi Bigha area. After scanning CCTV footage from the area, we traced one of the accused, Sunil Yadav,” Prasad said.
Delhi crime news: Deputy Commissioner of Police (northeast) Joy Tirkey said police on Friday morning arrested three men- Arman Khan, 18, Faisal Khan, 21, and Sameer alias Baloo, 19- from Gokalpuri in connection with the murder.
The victim had received three stab wounds in abdomen due to which he died on the spot.
