An individual's immunity which has been primed by prior infection or vaccination has the memory of the parent virus. But because Omicron is a deviant, meaning it has deviated quite a lot from its parent Covid strain, it has many dissimilarities.
The TDP chief tested positive a day after his son and party general secretary Lokesh was found infected with covid. He revealed that he is asymptomatic and feeling fine but will be self-isolating until recovery.

All those infected, including boxers Sumit and Rohit Mor, are complaining of 'relatively mild symptoms'.

The study showed that the temperature of the air made no difference to viral infectivity, contradicting the widely-held belief that viral transmission is lower at high temperatures, the report said. Wednesday's single-day count of 27,561 cases is the highest since April 30, 2021 when the city saw 27,047 infections.
As per the data released by the National Statistical Office (NSO), food inflation rose to 4.05 per cent in December this fiscal compared to 1.87 per cent in the preceding month.
At present, there are around 2.25 lakh active cases in the state. The state positivity rate is 21.4% and Mumbai's is 27%.
