Gujarat on Saturday crossed the 2 crore mark in the administration of COVID-19 doses which is a new milestone, the state health department said.
Over 25 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered till now in the country, with more than 31 lakh jabs given on Saturday, the Union health ministry said.
Expressing concern over drastic drop of routine immunisation among children specially during the second wave of COVID-19, healthcare experts have warned that there may be a risk of the children contracting vaccine preventable diseases which may re-emerge as a potential challenge.
