The national capital's positivity rate rose to 10.09 per cent, the highest since January 24, when the country went through a third wave of coronavirus. The city had recorded 11.8 per cent TPR then.
This is the third consecutive day that Delhi has recorded over 1,300 cases in a day. The capital has logged more than 1,000 daily cases for the fourth day on the trot.
The active cases comprise 0.10 per cent of the total infections, the ministry said. The total death toll in the country is now at 5,24,771.
After recording a current account surplus of 1.3 per cent of GDP in 2020, its first surplus since 2004, India returned to a current account deficit of 1.1 per cent of GDP in 2021.
The active cases comprise 0.06 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.73 per cent.
With the new cases, Delhi's COVID-19 tally increased to 19,05,512 while the death toll stands at 26,208, the department said in its latest bulletin.
In the last 24 hours, the national capital had registered 421 recoveries, and the Test Positivity Rate (TPR) was recorded at 2.69 per cent.
India has reported a total of 2,259 fresh coronavirus cases across the country on Friday and 20 deaths.
With these new cases, the national capital's overall Covid tally has increased to 18,98,173 while the death toll stood at 26,184.
Rahul Gandhi had earlier attacked the government over a WHO report which claimed there were 4.7 million Covid deaths in India, saying "science does not lie, Prime Minister Narendra Modi does".
The 27 new fatalities include 26 from Kerala and one from Tripura.
Delhi on Tuesday had reported 1,414 COVID-19 cases, around 31 per cent more than a day ago, though the positivity rate came down to 5.97 per cent, according to data shared by the city health department. One death occurred due to the disease.
While the fresh cases tally came down by 28 per cent in the national capital, the Test Positivity Rate (TPR) had increased from 4.89 per cent to 6.42 per cent.
As many as 757 COVID patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours taking the total number of recoveries since beginning of the pandemic in the city to 18,43,282.

“The count of daily cases in Delhi is being reported in the range of 100-200. We are keeping an eye on hospital admissions, and that is going down. The focus shouldn't be on positivity rate much as of now,” Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said.

The city has recorded zero fatality count on multiple days this month. The number of daily COVID-19 cases in Delhi has been on the decline after touching the record high of 28,867 on January 13.
With this, the total tally of cases in Delhi rised to 18,64,549, and the death toll rised to 26,151.
