India on Friday reported over 1200 new COVID-19 cases and two deaths in the last 24 hours.
The increase in the number of fresh Covid infections came amid a sharp rise in H3N2 influenza cases in the country.
The active tally of COVID cases in the country has climbed to 7,026 and it comprise 0.02 per cent of the total infections.
