After taking several measures to curb air pollution, the authorities under GRAP-4, urged the elderly, children and those with respiratory, cardiovascular, or other chronic diseases to avoid outdoor activities and stay indoors, as much as possible.
GRAP 3 has been activated in Delhi to combat the severe pollution crisis as AQI exceeds 400. Key measures include banning non-essential construction, restricting BS-III petrol and BS-IV diesel vehicles, limiting diesel generators, and increasing public transport.

Delhi-NCR air pollution: The Sub-Committee on GRAP, at a review meeting, noted that the AQI is likely to worsen further in the coming days due to unfavourable weather conditions.
