A CRPF commando, who was injured in an encounter with Maoists in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district last week, died at a private hospital in Raipur on Tuesday, police said.
Brijesh Kumar Yadav, 40, shot himself in the barrack at the ATS headquarters where he was staying and died on the spot.
Assistant Commandant Usha Kiran had earlier joined the 232 Mahila Battalion of CRPF in 2014 and then requested to be inducted into the COBRA (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action) unit alongside men on special.
