Himachal Pradesh news: Heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh since Friday caused landslides and flashfloods, with officials saying 22 people, including eight members of a family, died. Ten people were injured in the state which has reported 36 weather-related incidents.
Uttarakhand rains: As rains lashes parts of Uttarakhand, Priest of Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple Digambar Bharat Giri said, "water entered the temple with full force. We pray that there is no loss of lives or property. There was a bridge over the river which has got totally destroyed."
Himachal Pradesh weather update: Shortly after the cloudburst, a landslide was reported on National Highway-5 in Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur district. NH-5 was then blocked and machines were deployed to clear the debris.
Amarnath Yatra 2022: The Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Disaster Management Authority denied reports of any cloudburst taking place in the region.
Himachal Pradesh cloudburst: On Monday, several people were feared washed away or drowned away in flash floods caused by a cloud burst in Kullu.
Himachal Pradesh cloudburst: Reports were also there about a thunderstorm that hit the village of Salkhar, situated near the China-occupied Tibet border, due to which the main road of the border has also been closed.
Amarnath Yatra: The yatra had halted in Jammu, but a batch of pilgrims departed from the Baltal base camp today. Choppers from both sides, Baltal and Nunwan were available.

Amarnath Cloudburst: Drones and helicopters were pressed into service and mountain rescue teams and lookout patrols with high-tech equipment and sniffer dogs deployed as operations continued to look for survivors in the incident.
The former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister, Farooq Abdullah, questioned the decision to set up tents and langar (community kitchen) in such a vulnerable area.
Amarnath cloudburst news: According to weather scientists, the shrine reported 31 mm of rainfall between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm on Friday, which is quite low to be categorised as a cloudburst.
Jammu and Kashmir: The cloudburst occurred at around 4:00 am in Gunti forest area in Thathri belt, resulting in heavy flash floods, officials said.
A cloudburst near the Amarnath cave shrine resulted in several casualties. Visuals from the site of tragedy have been going viral on social media and netizens are praying for those affected.
Amarnath Yatra 2022/ Amarnath cloudburst: Before this, the authorities had announced on July 6 that due to inclement weather along both routes, Amarnath Yatra will remain suspended for the day.
Also, Nainital has been cut off from the rest of the state with three roads leading to the popular tourist spot blocked due to a series of landslides.
The cloudburst later triggered flash flood submerging paddy fields and some government buildings, including schools in Watergam village of the Rafiabad area.
Indian Air Force (IAF) rescued 74 stranded personnel from different parts of the district on Friday.
According to Doda Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Udayabhaskar Billa, of the 17 people who have been rescued till now, five are critically injured.
A cloudburst occurred near the Amarnath cave Wednesday afternoon. No loss of life or injuries have been reported so far.
Most parts of the Jammu region have been receiving heavy rains for the past few days.
