The decision came shortly after the central government announced cancelling the CBSE Class 12 board exams amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The apex Court has asked the petitioner to serve an advanced copy to respondents including Centre, CBSE and ICSE. The next hearing on the case will be on Monday, May 31, 2021.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Sunday said holding the Class 12 board examinations in the state would not be appropriate in the wake of the present COVID-19 situation.
