The AQI in Delhi dropped to 272 on Tuesday morning. An AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor', and 401 and 500 'severe'.
In one of the most destructive fire incidents in Delhi's bustling Chandni Chowk area, nearly 110 shops have been destroyed completely or partially. The fire that started on Friday evening took over 24 hours to get doused completely.
An eight-member team from the Delhi Police conducted searches in Mussoorie, Dehradun, and Delhi, managing to arrest six suspects. During these operations, the team recovered a total of Rs 30 lakh in cash.
As many as 30 fire tenders were pressed into action following the incident. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
BJP is likely to maintain its dominance on all seven Lok Sabha Seats in Delhi. However, the results are yet not disclosed. As per the early trends, Bhartiya Janta Party has secured all seven seats, with a vote share as follows: BJP at 54%, AAP at 26%, and Congress at 17 %.
