The government on Tuesday announced that CBSE Class 12 board exams have been canceled for the year 2021. After the declaration, Netizens bombarded social media with memes and jokes.
A big relief said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after the Centre on Tuesday announced that CBSE Class 12 board exams have been cancelled for academic session 2020-2021. The decision was taken after a crucial meeting that was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Education Minister had recently sought detailed suggestions from the states and Union Territories on the proposals discussed in a high-level meeting held on the issue.
The Centre earlier told the Supreme Court that a final decision on conducting board exams will be taken in next two days. CBSE has proposed conducting the exams between July 15-August 26 and the result to be declared in September

Keeping in mind the COVID-19 situation, the CBSE and CISCE are contemplating various options about the pending class 12 board exams, including cancellation and adopting alternative assessment route or going ahead with the exams in truncated format, according to sources.

The Delhi government is not in favour of the CBSE exploring options to conduct the Class 12 board examinations and going ahead with the process without vaccinating the students will prove to be a big mistake, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said on Sunday.
According to CBSE, the young warriors will be assigned a series of tasks from vaccine registration, access to health and essential services, Covid appropriate behaviours, myth-busting.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will not announce the Class 10 Board results on June 20.
Ramesh Pokhriyal told IndiaTV, "The meeting with state education secretaries is going on. If there is any decision on cancellation of exam, will inform."
As per reports, the plea filed by advocate Mamta Sharma requested to assess the class 12 students on the basis of objective methodology.
