The lender is offering housing loans and car loans at an interest rate starting from 6.90 per cent and 7.30 per cent respectively, a release said.

The SBI has also announced personal loan upto Rs 20 lakh at the lowest interest rate starting from 10.75 per cent with the longest re-payment tenure of 6 years, reducing the EMI burden on customers.
SBI reduced its MCLR by 5 basis points (0.05 per cent) across all tenors with the one-year MCLR coming down from 8.55 per cent per annum to 8.50 per cent per annum.
