Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraj Party on Saturday filed a plea in the Supreme Court to postpone by-elections in Bihar citing Chhath Puja in Bihar.
Karnataka legislative council bypolls: The election was held following Kota Srinivas Poojari, who represented the seat successfully contested the Lok Sabha election from the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Parliamentary seat.
Punjab bypolls: The bypolls to the Gidderbaha, Dera Baba Nanak, Chabbewal and Barnala seats were necessitated after the sitting MLAs were elected to the Lok Sabha.
Bihar bypolls 2024: The four seats going for bypoll in Bihar are Tarai, Ramgarh, Imamganj and Belaganj. As per the Election Commission, the polling at these three seats will be held on November 13, while counting of votes will take place on November 23.
The bypolls for 48 Assembly constituencies and two Parliamentary seats are set to occur in two phases alongside the Maharashtra and Jharkhand Assembly elections.
