There were 34 passengers onboard, police said. Rescue officials said death toll could rise as some of the injured were critical.
Mandi bus accident: The accident left several passengers including driver and conductor of the Himachal Road Transport Corporation bus injured, police said.
Delhi bus accident: One unknown person was brought dead at Holy Family Hospital in Delhi on Wednesday while two of the injured are in critical condition, informed Delhi Police.
Reasi bus accident: Additional Director General of Police Jammu, Mukesh Singh said, "As per the driver's version, the accident happened after he lost control of the vehicle due to a sharp curve."
The Prime Minister and Chief Minister announced compensation to next of kin of those who lost their lives in the accident.
Himachal Pradesh bus accident: At 4:15 a.m., the accident occurred while the bus was traveling from Ballabgarh in Haryana to Baijnath in Kangra.
Two girls were killed when a roadways bus fell into a gorge. There were 22 people in the bus, including the driver.
The Pathanamthitta District Public Relations Department said the pilgrims are from the Mayiladuthurai district in Tamil Nadu.

The injured have been taken to a hospital.
Madhya Pradesh accident: According to Gohalpur police station in-charge Vijay Tiwari, the incident took place when the public transport bus stopped at the traffic signal at Damoh Naka Square on Friday, December 2.
Himachal bus accident: According to the local police, the incident took place at around 2 am when the bus was on its way to Chandigarh from Manali.
