In a major bus accident, an overcrowded minibus rolled down a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar. So far, 35 dead bodies have been retrieved from the accident site. Several others who have been injured in the accident have been shifted to a nearby hospital. Meanwhile, the officials were investigating whether it was a mechanical failure or driver's negligence.

According to the police, the double-decker bus was traveling from Noida to Bhind late on Sunday night, when it lost control and turned turtle at Garhsauli village in Baldev Police Station area.
Those injured were admitted to a nearby hospital.
The driver swerved to avoid hitting the tractor but lost control of the vehicle, SHO of Bangarmau Police Station Arvind Kumar Singh said, adding that the bus was on its way to Madhubani in Bihar from Gurgaon, Haryana.
