The two-wheeler rider was rushed to a hospital after the accident but was declared dead. This is the third accident involving a BEST bus in less than a week in Mumbai.
Kurla BEST accident: A many as seven people were killed and 42 others were injured, including four policemen on ‘bandobast’ duty. The accident also wrecked 22 vehicles.
As many as 22 vehicles were damaged in the incident which took place at around 9.30 pm on Monday on the SG Barve Marg in Kurla (West).
Emergency services promptly responded, transporting the injured to nearby hospitals for medical attention. The extent of their injuries is yet to be ascertained.
