Karnataka: The police said that the house had been abandoned for the past two months. Adding further, the officials said that the building collapse caused damages to the compound of the private school in the area.

As of now, five bodies have been recovered, and one worker has been confirmed dead. The rescue teams, comprising personnel from the fire and emergency department, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), have successfully rescued 13 individuals.

Personnel of the NDRF, fire brigade, police, medical and the local administration carried out the rescue work after the building collapsed following a cylinder explosion.
Karol Bandh building collapse: Atishi visited the area and said four people have died in the incident. She added that legal action will be taken against the building owner.
Bharuch District Magistrate Tushar Sumera provided details of the incident and said that the roof and a wall that was under construction at the school fell on labourers. While most of them escaped with minor injuries, three sustained major injuries.

Many of the students were pulled out from under the debris of the collapsed balcony and the critical students are undergoing treatment for injuries to their face, neck, hands and legs.
The incident happened in Karauli's Dolikhar locality while the family was asleep. The injured were rushed to the hospital, where they were undergoing treatment.
Three labourers who were working in the dilapidated building were trapped under the debris and were later rescued.
Emergency services, including fire brigades and disaster response teams, have been dispatched to the scene. Rescue operations are in full swing to locate and save those feared trapped.
