Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has released the manifesto of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) for the November 30 Assembly elections. The manifesto pledges to maintain the party's key welfare programs, such as Dalit Bandhu and KCR Bima, if the BRS secures victory in polls.
A protest was launched by fellow job aspirants against the Bharat Rashtra Samithi government after the woman took the extreme step and ended her life. BJP MP K Laxman who was also protesting claimed he was arrested for demanding that victim's suicide letter should be made public.
Assembly polls in Telangana will be held in a single phase on November 30 and the counting of votes will take place on December 3. Telangana is likely to witness a triangular contest among the ruling BRS, Congress and BJP.
