Maharashtra: The balcony of a single-storey structure in Nalasopara in Palghar collapsed in the evening, a Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation official said.
The bridge was constructed in 2022 but was never inaugurated due to the lack of an access road.

Uttarakhand: Commenting on the bridge collapse incident, State Disaster Response Fund officials informed that as many as six people have been evacuated and taken to the district hospital.
The incident took place when a 138-wheel trailer truck was crossing the narrow bridge, leading to the vehicle falling on the dry river bed.
Operational support has been mobilised from the local 102 Brigade of the Army, project Vijayak of Border Roads Organisation, and the Air Force Station, Leh, the spokesman said.
Those injured were rescued by J&K Police and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
