The arrests were made three days after receiving an e-mail threatening to kill Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and to blow up Ram Temple.

According to the Mumbai Police, the email sender has been arrested from Vadodara in Gujarat. The police also detained two more persons in the matter and were being questioned as to why the threatening mail was sent.
The sender claimed to be from 'Khilafat India' and stated that bombs have been planted at a total of 11 locations in Mumbai. According to the email, the bombs were planted at RBI offices, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank and the blasts were to take place at 1:30 pm today (December 26).
The police were informed about the email after which they swung into action and initiated searches on the campuses of the schools. The threat later was declared as hoax as nothing was found in searches.
The sender of the email has demanded to pay one million dollars in Bitcoin within 48 hours to prevent the bomb blast at Mumbai airport, as reported by the police.

The train was thoroughly searched by a bomb disposal squad and a dog squad. However, no explosive was found on the train.
The call was made at 7am and a probe found the accused indulged in the act in a fit of rage after having an argument with his neighbour, the official said.
Earlier in August last year, a similar situation was reported when the police officials evacuated Terminal 1.
