The Ukraine International Airlines Boeing 737-800 plane that crashed after takeoff from Tehran on Wednesday, killing all 176 people on board, sought no radio help in its final moments and was making a return after takeoff, an early investigation into the crash has revealed. The To70 consultancy said on Wednesday that 257 people died in eight fatal accidents in 2019. That compares to 534 deaths in 13 fatal accidents in 2018.
