The class 12 exam was earlier scheduled to be conducted from July 1.
The state government's affidavit said Class XII exams are postponed presently and a final decision on it would be taken after the Centre makes a move on the national level
In view of the pandemic situation, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided not to conduct state board's class 10 examination.
According to the board president Bhabatosh Saha, the exam for class 10 will be held in three subjects, while only important papers for class 12. For class 10, exam will be held for English, Mathematics and Science.
The PIL filed in Supreme Court for cancellation of Class 12th Board Exams 2021 is likely to be heard soon. This renews hope for students of a possibility of cancelling exams even as many state boards have announced their decision to go ahead with them. Also, while CBSE has not said so as yet, it was made clear that the board is likely to conduct the CBSE 12th exams in July 2021.

The HSC class 12 exam will be held from July 1. The exam will be held as per the existing system, said education minister.
As per reports, state education minister Haryana Kanwar Pal said that the state is planning to conduct the senior secondary exam from June 15 to 20.
A total of 4.46 lakh (4,46,393), 98.61 per cent students secured first division, 9,024 (1.96) per cent students passed with second division and 5,676 students (1.23) per cent got third division
A total of 4.61 lakh students who have enrolled for the exam can check the result through the website- cgbse.nic.in. The result will be announced at 11 am.
CGBSE in its release stated, a total of 4.67 lakh (4,67,261) enrolled in the secondary exam this year, out of which 4,61,093 students declared pass, the result of 6,168 students could not be cleared due to discrepancies in application form
The government official informed IndiaTV, "The current pandemic situtaion will not favour to conduct the class 10, 12 exams putting students' life at risk. The government is not cancelling the exams, the decision on board exams will be taken after reviewing the pandemic situations."
As per reports, the plea filed by advocate Mamta Sharma requested to assess the class 12 students on the basis of objective methodology.
Gujarat board exam were earlier scheduled to be conducted from May 10 to 25.
As per the official, the madhyamik exam is likely to be cancelled as the government is unwilling to conduct the class 10 exam putting students life at risk
As per the assessment criteria, the class 10 students will be evaluated on the basis of their performances in the first term, second term, pre-board and internal assessment exams, following which the final result will be announced.
PIL in the Delhi High Court on Friday urged it to direct the Centre and Delhi government to vaccinate all class 10 and 12 students who would be appearing for board exams in the 2020-21 session.
The WBCHSE will conduct the Higher Secondary (HS) or class 12 exam as per schedule, but the timing has been changed to 12 to 3:15 PM from scheduled 10 am to 1:15 pm. The HS exam is scheduled to be held from June 15
The candidates appeared in the exam can check the result through the website- samastha.in. The exam was condcuted on April 3 and 4.
