Ahead of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2020, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will launch BJP's manifesto for upcoming polls in Patna on October 22 (Thursday). Union Minister and Patna Sahib MP Ravi Shankar Prasad will also be present at the manifesto release.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday released a 'Sankalp Patra' ahead of the upcoming assembly election in Delhi.
The report, 'Walking the Talk - An Analysis of Implementation of Jharkhand BJP Manifesto 2014," was released by PPRC Directors Vinay P Sahasrabuddhe and Sumit Bhasin just two before the first phase of the vote on November 30.
Every student of Classes 9 and 10 will receive Rs 2,200 and that of Classes 11 and 12 Rs 7,500 as scholarships, said the manifesto, which was released by Prasad here, in the presence of Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Union Tribal Minister Arjun Munda and BJPs state unit president Laxman Gilua.
Describing the poll manifesto as a 'Sankalp Patra', the BJP demanded Bharat Ratna demand for Jyotiba Phule and his wife Savitribai Phule and Vir Savarkar.
For 10 years during the UPA rule, he said, India was absolutely secure without any threat of war between India and Pakistan or China.
Soon after its release on Monday, the BJP's election manifesto was dubbed as a 'Jhansa Patra' (deception document) and a "bubble of lies" by the Congress party.
In its manifesto released today, the saffron party said it is committed to annulling Article 35A, which it said was "discriminatory" against non-permanent residents and women of Jammu and Kashmir.
In the manifesto, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) asserted it has determinedly taken substantive measures to ensure overall development of women and promote gender equality.
"Their only target is to consolidate the Hindutva communal vote bank. But this time that is not going to happen," he claimed.
Top party leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and its chief Amit Shah, will be present at the launch of the manifesto, described by the BJP as its "sankalp patra".

The 20-member manifesto committee has several Union Ministers in it, including Arun Jaitley, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Nirmala Sitharaman, Thaawarchand Gehlot, Piyush Goyal and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.
