Tejaswi Yadav has referred to the latest incident and called it a failure of the double-engine government. However, the District Magistrate has asserted that the collapsed structure was neither a bridge nor a causeway, instead, it was a makeshift structure.
The recent collapse of bridges in Bihar has raised significant alarm and concern. A petition has also been moved in the Supreme Court seeking to issue direction to the Bihar Government to conduct the highest level structural audit of all existing and under-construction bridges in the state.
