Bhavana Menon sexual assault case: Last week, the Crime Branch wing of Kerala Police registered a case against actor Dileep and five others for allegedly threatening investigation officers in the sexual assault case of the actress. After the recent development in the case, Bhavana released a statement on her Instagram account. In the statement, she opened up about the horrific incident and how she faced humiliation over the years.
The attack on Bhavana Menon reportedly took place in 2017 when she was returning to Kochi after a shooting assignment on the outskirts of the city. Her vehicle was allegedly waylaid, and she was abducted by a criminal gang in a closed van. On Sunday, the Crime Branch wing of Kerala Police registered a case against actor Dileep.
Bhavana Menon was allegedly abducted and molested in Ernakulam district of Kerala when she was on her way back home from a film's shoot on February 17, 2017. Malayalam actor Dileep is said to be the main accused in the case. Several celebrities including Nimisha Sajayan singer Chinmayi Sripada, Prithviraj, Geetu Mohandas, Parvathy Thiruvothu from the south Industry expressed their solidarity with the actress.
