England superstar Ben Stokes has returned to smashing form after reversing his retirement from ODI format. He struck a half-century on his comeback but bettered his performance a couple of matches later to smash a record-breaking 182 in the third ODI against New Zealand.

Ben Stokes will be doubtful for at least the start of the five-match Test series against India in January if he undergoes surgery post the ODI World Cup. Stokes has been suffering from a recurrence of a left knee problem.
England and New Zealand will face each other in Cardiff today in the first of four-match ODI series. The preceding T20I series between the two teams ended in 2-2 with the visitors winning the last two matches.
England have unveiled their brand new jersey ahead of their first ODI match against New Zealand on Friday.
"Going into this one as world champions, playing a part in that in 2019, which was an unbelievable moment for us as a team and myself," Ben Stokes added.
"He's just the unfortunate one at the moment to not be in that squad at the moment," Buttler added.
"I feel like I'm playing well at the minute and feel I could potentially add value to the team," Brook added.
Former Australia captain Tim Paine feels that Stokes' decision to reverse his ODI retirement is selfish of him.
Ben Stokes had retired from the ODI format last year citing hectic schedule as the reason. But he came out of retirement for England to feature in the World Cup set to be played in India.
England announced their ODI squad for the New Zealand series and the ICC World Cup 2023 on August 16 and Gus Atkinson is included in both squads.
