Dakshina Kannada district administration has instructed the officials of city local bodies and gram panchayats to remove all controversial banners displayed in the district with the help of the police.
In some temples of Uttarakhand's Dehradun, banners were put up saying that entry of non-Hindus is banned in the temple premises. These banners were put up by Hindu Yuva Vahini. The banners have been removed.
