Maharashtra: Aurangabad inching towards peace under section 144 after 2 dead in communal clash
The unrest had forced the district administration to clamp prohibitory orders under section 144 of the CrPC banning assembly of people and suspended Internet services. The prohibitions were still in place by Sunday morning.
The police have imposed section 144, prohibiting the assembly of more than four people in an area, to keep the situation under control.
