Assam: The flood situation in Assam has deteriorated due to Cyclone Remal's intense rainfall, with the death toll reaching 25 after seven more fatalities on Tuesday. The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) reported drownings in Cachar, Nagaon, and Kamrup (Metro) districts.
