India | July 27, 2019 16:08 ISTBoeing said the first batch of the Apaches arrived in India and an additional four choppers will be delivered to the IAF next week. "The eight choppers will then move to the Pathankot Air Force station for their formal induction by the IAF, in September," it said. The AH-64E Apache is one of the world's most advanced multi-role combat helicopters and is flown by the US Army.

India to receive first batch of Apache Guardian Attack Helicopters today
India | July 27, 2019 12:29 ISTIt was earlier reported that first four helicopters would arrive on a US Air Force C-17 Globemaster III Transport Aircraft at Pathankot following which they will be assembled there. But, no official confirmation came from the Defence Ministry or the IAF regarding the place and time of delivery. The first AH-64E was officially handed over to the IAF during a ceremony at Boeing’s production Center in Mesa, Arizona, on May 10.
