The petition filed alleged that some CBI officials have abused their powers by violating the existing guidelines on phone tapping and surveillance.
A division bench of Chief Justice Rajendra Menon and Justice V Kameswar Rao asked the Centre and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to file their reply and listed the matter for further hearing on March 26.
The operation was coordinated by interim CBI Director M Nageswar Rao and a team of the agency’s officers led by Joint Director Sai Manohar.
Both Doval and Wang are the designated special representatives for border talks between India and China.
Doval and former Group General Manager and Country Head of HSBC India Naina Lal Kidwai were conferred with honorary doctorate degrees in philosophy by the varsity.
Speaking at an event in New Delhi, Doval cited the example of Chinese multinational conglomerate Alibaba and said that Indian firms should also promote country's strategic interests.
The meeting comes a week after the successful India-US 2+2 Dialogue between the defence and foreign ministers of the two countries.
Doval will also meet his US counterpart John Bolton and hold talks with officials from the Department of Defence and from the think-tank community.
The People's Democratic Party (PDP), which was till recently an ally of the Centre's ruling BJP, said those who believe in accession of the state to the Union of India should also have faith in the instrument of accession.
His remarks on Kashmir come at a time the Supreme Court is hearing pleas challenging the constitutional validity of Article 35-A of the Constitution, which provides special rights and privileges to permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir.

The meeting was held in Shanghai and it was second such interaction between the two officials after the last year’s Dokalam stand-off.
National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Union Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba and chief of intelligence agencies attended the meeting.
On Monday, the Tripura unit of the CPI-M requested the Election Commission to look into an “election meeting” of the BJP, alleging it was attended by Doval.
MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar told mediapersons that elimination of terror from the region was the top agenda of the meeting between Ajit Doval and Lt Gen Nasser Khan Janjua.
According to the Pakistani official, the meeting came after Indian death-row prisoner Kulbhushan Jadhav met with his family on December 25 in Islamabad.
