Ranchi-bound AirAsia flight suffers bird hit during takeoff at Delhi Airport
India | July 29, 2019 12:40 ISTAirAsia flight I5-744 from Delhi to Ranchi was grounded at Delhi's IGI Airport after it suffered a bird hit. The incident was reported at the time of takeoff after which the flight captain discontinued the operation. An inspection of the engine is currently underway. The news was confirmed by a spokesman of AirAsia, who said the aircraft was taxied back to the bay following the incident of bird hit.
