Delhi air quality: There were 17 'good' to 'moderate' air quality days in the first quarter of 2017; 24 in 2018; 32 in 2019; 38 in 2020; 13 in 2021; 27 in 2022 and 35 in 2023, the data showed.
Chad, Iraq, Pakistan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Kuwait, India, Egypt and Tajikistan were the top 10 most polluted countries while Australia, Estonia, Finland, Grenada, Iceland, and New Zealand met the World Health Organization (WHO) PM2.5 guideline (annual average of 5 Aug/m3 or less).
Delhi air quality: "Keeping in view this trend of improvement in the overall AQI of Delhi-NCR, the GRAP sub-committee decided to revoke actions under stage II of GRAP ('very poor' AQI) in the entire NCR with immediate effect," the statement said.
