Supreme Court directed the Centre and AIIMS to allow a doctor to participate in the counselling on August 31 for admission to PG and post-doctoral courses.

The application correction window will be opened on August 11. The candidates who want to make corrections in the permissible fields in their respective online application form can do so till August 14 (2 pm)

A minor fire broke out on wee hours of June 28 at an emergency ward of Delhi AIIMS building. Seven Fire tenders rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire. All patients were evacuated from the affected area. Cause of fire yet to be ascertained. No casualty reported. More details are awaited.
The situation is now normal and under control, and there is neither any casualty nor any injury to any person. The casualty area has been reopened for patients.

Meanwhile, according to an AIIMS survey, the third wave of Covid-19 is unlikely to affect children much. As per the survey, the SARS-CoV-2 seropositivity rate among children was high compared to the adult population, which was conducted in five selected states with a total sample size of 10,000 by WHO.
The third wave of coronavirus, if at all it comes, is unlikely to affect children more as the recent sero-survey showed almost as much anti-bodies in children as they were in adults over 18 plus, said AIIMS Director Randeep Guleria in an exclusive conversation with India TV Editor-In-Chief and Chairman, Rajat Sharma in Aaj Ki Baat.
