A major fire broke out at the Ahmedabad-based Space Applications Centre of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Thursday.

The Ahmedabad police on Tuesday dismissed VHP leader Pravin Togadia's claim that he could have been killed in a fake encounter, saying it is not possible to eliminate someone who has 'Z-plus' security.
Togadia went "missing" after stepping out of the VHP headquarters in Paldi area of the city when a contingent of Rajasthan Police came to arrest him in an old case.
