A Delhi court on Saturday dismissed the bail applications of alleged middleman Christian Michel who was arrested in connection with the AgustaWestland VVIP chopper case.
While seeking non-bailable warrant (NBW) against Puri, ED told special judge Arvind Kumar that the evidence was being tampered in the money laundering case related to now-scrapped Rs 3,600 crore VVIP chopper deal with AgustaWestland. The agency further said that there were chances that Puri may flee from justice.

The CBI had sought an extension of five days saying the agency wanted to confront him with more evidence.
Michel is a British national who was wanted for his role in the Rs 3,600 crore AgustaWestland VVIP chopper deal case.
India officially made the request to the Gulf nation in 2017 for his extradition, based on the criminal investigations conducted in the case by the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
Other accused including Carlo Gerosa and GR Heshke have not been granted bail as they failed to appear for the hearing.
